MYSORE STYLE

Ashtanga yoga is learned in what’s called a “Mysore style” class where you develop an individualized practice with the support and guidance of a teacher. This is the traditional way of learning the sequence and allows more one-on-one time with the teacher.  

Each student is taught at their own pace that is suitable for their situation in life.  The student is taught pose by pose and only goes to the level that is safe for that student.

This is not a led class and is conducted in a window of time where students can attend and practice for the amount of time they see fit.

Local drop-ins with an established practice are possible, contingent upon space and time. Please e-mail ahead of time to request a spot.

New students interested in beginning a practice, please e-mail to set up a time to meet, discuss, and observe a class.

Out-of-town drop-ins with an established practice are welcome. Please e-mail us with your intended visit ahead of time.
