Ashtanga yoga is learned in what’s called a “Mysore style” class where you develop an individualized practice with the support and guidance of a teacher. This is the traditional way of learning the sequence and allows more one-on-one time with the teacher.
Each student is taught at their own pace that is suitable for their situation in life. The student is taught pose by pose and only goes to the level that is safe for that student.
This is not a led class and is conducted in a window of time where students can attend and practice for the amount of time they see fit.
